A calm and gentle 1-day workshop where you will be working with a range of techniques, materials and processes that will help you kick start a successful art journaling practice.
I will talk about how I used a combination of painting, sketching, colour notes, collage and text to document inspiration whilst recently in India and how this research has inspired my new work.
The workshop will also include tutor demonstrations, time for experimentation and play, and a chance for you to have a closer look in my many art journals.
By the end of the workshop you will have learnt how to develop an art journal practice that you can take anywhere, that will help to strengthen your connection to yourself and to your creativity.

No experience is necessary. This workshop would be perfect for those who are re-starting their art journey or who are looking at ways of gathering ideas, inspiration and new ways of working. It would also suit those who don't have much time, but would like to have more creative engagement in their lives.
